Terms of Use
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Seen & Stamped, including when you browse, vote, sign up to the newsletter or send us a stamp, collection, experience or photo. By using the site you agree to them. Please read them with our Community Guidelines and Privacy Notice.
Who we are
Seen & Stamped is run by Amos, based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@seenandstamped.com.
Who can take part
Anyone can browse the site. You must be 16 or over to submit a stamp, collection or experience, add a photo or sign up to the newsletter. If we learn that something was sent by someone under 16, we’ll remove it.
What you send us
When you submit anything to Seen & Stamped, you confirm that:
- it’s your own honest experience and opinion, and it follows our Community Guidelines;
- you took any photo you add, and anyone who can be recognised in it has agreed to appear;
- you aren’t being paid, gifted or otherwise rewarded for it, and you don’t own or work for the place you’re reviewing;
- it doesn’t break the law or anyone else’s rights, including copyright and privacy.
You keep ownership of what you write and the photos you take. You give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to publish, display, translate, crop, resize and share it on Seen & Stamped, in our newsletter and in posts that promote the site, with your name or handle if you gave one. This licence ends when your content is removed from the site, except for copies already sent in newsletters or shared before removal.
How we moderate
A person checks everything before it goes live. We may edit submissions lightly (for example to fix spelling or remove details that identify someone), decline them, or remove them later, at our discretion. We don’t have to publish anything we receive.
Reviews are opinions
Stamps, verdicts and experiences are the personal opinions of the travellers who wrote them, not statements of fact by us. Places change, and one person’s experience may not match yours. We don’t check or guarantee that what’s on the site is accurate, complete or up to date, so please use your own judgement and check details such as opening times, prices and accessibility before you go.
Complaints and removal requests
If you think something on the site is unlawful, inaccurate about you or your business, or breaks our guidelines, email hello@seenandstamped.com with a link to it and tell us why. We’ll look at every request and aim to reply within 7 days. Where appropriate we may take the content down while we look into it. If you run a place that’s been reviewed, you’re welcome to share your side, but we won’t remove an honest opinion just because it’s negative.
Partner content and links
Some collections and stamps are curated by brand partners or creators. These are added only by us, are always clearly labelled, and may include links for which we receive a commission or payment. Partner websites are run by those partners, and their own terms and privacy notices apply. We aren’t responsible for their sites, products or services.
Using the site fairly
Please don’t try to break, overload or get around the security of the site; send spam or automated submissions; vote more than once using tricks; or copy large parts of the site’s content for another service without our permission.
Our liability
Seen & Stamped is a free community guide provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from relying on its content, or for what happens at any place listed on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the version on this page is the one that applies.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
