Great Mosque of Kairouan
First stamped by @Zay Explores in Oct 2026 as Must goOver 1,300 years old and one of the oldest mosques in the world, often described as the fourth holiest site in Islam. I took an easy hour-long bus from Sousse that drops you in the medina, then got happily lost in its maze. A rooftop opposite the mosque gives a great view from above. Dress modestly.
