Gamla Stan
Stockholm's cobbled old town. Stop for fika or a cinnamon bun here - the best I've ever had. Glögg (Swedish mulled wine) is sold at the cafés too, although they are extra sweet - nothing special. (via Sheila B vlog)
An easy, fun Stockholm city break: art-filled metro stations, fika and cobbled streets in Gamla Stan, the Royal Palace, rooftop drinks with a view and plenty of shopping. Picked by Sheila B. from her weekend in the city. Made for first-timers who want the highlights without over-planning.

Stockholm's metro is often called the world's longest art gallery, with painted cave-like stations across the network. It's one of the prettiest underground art gallery vibes. T-Centralen's blue line platforms are a good place to start.
Rooftop bar in Hammarby Sjöstad with sweeping views over the city lights. Buzzing with vibes and the view absolutely stunning. Good for a dressed-up evening out. (via Sheila B vlog
The Swedish royal palace on the edge of Gamla Stan, with a big square, guards and cannons. Very, very pretty. Nationalmuseum is just across the water (via Sheila B vlog)
Close to Mall of Scandinavia. Room was very clean and loved the huge mirror (great for doing your make-up), and the lantern-lit lobby was a vibe (via Sheila b vlog)
Scandinavia's biggest shopping centre, a short trip from central Stockholm. Headed here on arrival for shopping and a food-court dinner. (via Sheila B vlog)
